Dear members of White House Fellowship Church,Thank you so much for your precious prayers and support for Japan. Thanks to your valuable support, we are able to continue our activities in Suzu City, located at the tip of the Noto Peninsula. We are truly grateful to you all.It is now December, and today the weather is quite wintery with snow and hail falling. We are continuing various activities and site visits today. This time, we have three people from Okayama who have come to join us, and each of us is using our skills and experiences to continue with various tasks.Currently, in Suzu City, due to snow in January and February, demolition work cannot be done. Therefore, there is a very tight schedule, and we are in the midst of intense work. There is a place near the campground where we are staying where wood is being gathered, and there is already a traffic jam with trucks since this morning. We are now supporting both earthquake and flood relief efforts. For the coming winter, we are preparing by using plastic sheets to block drafts and keep the areas insulated.Additionally, we are working on requests such as restoring wells, so they can be used again after demolition, and helping with various other problems. We are providing advice and assistance for each case as we go along. As the snow increases, it will likely become more difficult for us to carry out our activities, but we will continue to monitor the weather, stay safe, and work together with everyone to move forward. Also, because this region is very cold, we are especially focused on maintaining health and safety. Many volunteers from all over the country have gathered in this area, and we are all staying at a place called "Volacamp Suzu," where people from different groups are coming together to support the community. Everyone is working together, crossing the boundaries of organizations to help the local area. People with different backgrounds and skills are coming together, and we are working alongside various groups, including Christian organizations like Noto Help and Dablists. At the moment, we have more opportunities to work with non-Christian volunteers, but we are committed to continuing our work with Christ’s love at the heart of it.Our goal is to continue this mission, ensuring that everyone stays healthy and safe.We are grateful for your continued support, and we thank you for everything.Thank you very much.
